Dr. Peter Kietzmann

About:

Peter holds a M.S. Degree in Information and Communications Technology from HAW Hamburg since 2014, and was a PhD student of the Internet Technologies Reasearch Group. He is a member of the RIOT core development team. His particular interests lie in radio technologies, embedded programming, and secure IoT protocols, many of which he not only analyzed, but transformed into code of RIOT. In the German-French research project PIVOT (Privacy-Integrated design and Validation in the constrained IoT) he was involved in exploring the secure protection of data on low-end devices and low-power radio networks of the ultra-constrained IoT.

Dr. Peter Kietzmann has competed his PhD in  the INET research group at the University of Applied Sciences (HAW) in Hamburg. He focused within the I3 project on wireless transmission in ICN based networks and on network security in the IoT. In his PhD Thesis, Peter also contributed significantly to systems-level security in the constrained IoT.
