Till Steinbach

Till Steinbach was research assistant in the Internet Technologies (INET) Research Group at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW-Hamburg). He studied computer science at the HAW-Hamburg and finished his master studies early 2011. For his master thesis about the simulation of real-time Ethernet based in-car networks he received the Hermann-Appel award for electronics development. Till received his PhD from the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg in 2018. His research was honored with the IAV Talent Award in the category Excellence in 2018. Till is co-founder of the CoRE (Communication over Real-time Ethernet) project. His interests are real-time communication and the design and analysis of new communication technologies, protocols and architectures for in-car networks.
