Very Large IoT Deployment in the Smart City Hamburg: EU Project MONICA Approved
MONICA, our EU Proposal "Management Of Networked IoT Wearables – Very Large Scale Demonstration of Cultural Societal Applications" jointly submitted with Hamburg's Senate Chancellery has been accepted.
MONICA is a very large H2020 project with 28 partners and a total budget of 15 Mio €. It is dedicated to experimental large-scale deployment of IoT systems in Smart Cities like Hamburg. RIOT, the friendly operating system of the IoT, will facilitate the large IoT roll-out. Prospective start date of MONICA is January 2017 with a total funding of ~.5 Mio € for Hamburg (HAW + FHH).
